Dear DB folks and our volunteer friends,

We will have a Deaf-Blind Holiday Party on December 27 in West Chester, PA. Come and share the great food, fellowship and fun!

Admission is free. However, all guests are encouraged to make a voluntary donation of $5 toward the event. Please bring one small gift that costs less than $20, and you will receive both a gift and a raffle ticket in return. You also get a raffle ticket when you make a voluntary donation of $5. We will draw several tickets and award special prizes to the lucky winners, including three curiously packaged mystery prizes that may surprise you. See if you can guess what’s hidden inside these odd exteriors and why it’s appropriate.

The menu will include (special thanks to Dan Feeney):
Hot turkey and rolls (can make a sandwich or eat separately)
Homemade stuffing
Candied sweet potatoes with marshmallow
Green bean casserole (thanks to Beth Lockard)
Coffee, peppermint candy cane, whipped cream and chocolate
Holiday hot chocolate
Eggnog (nonalcoholic)
Soft drinks
Desserts

If you’d like to contribute an item to the feast, here are some things we need:
Appetizers
Canned sweet corn
Christmas bread (stollen)
Cranberry sauce (cans are fine)
Watergate or Jell-O salad
Pea salad
Marshmallows (bag)
